The programme benefits from contributions of staff drawn from across humanities and architecture, art history, fine art and social sciences.
We bring to both teaching and research supervision our multi-disciplinary and international expertise centred on specific cities and their unique research potentials: Berlin, Warsaw, Montréal, Shanghai, Nanjing, Barcelona, Marseille, Florence, Venice, Athens, London, Dublin, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
We invite explorations into problems of visual knowledges, new ways of posing research problems and experimenting with media translations. We welcome creative thinking through new and old technologies and through multi-modal platforms for cultural research. We explore modes and possibilities of research dissemination and publication.
We invite you to get involved, to participate in projects and events, to network with other students and researchers across the University, to situate your research questions and projects in the real world around you. We challenge you to make your work matter to specific sites, communities, and objects of your cultural and urban preoccupations.
